How it identify a baby sparrow verses a baby finch?I have a nest of 5 babies that are around 5-7 days old that I rescued. They were nesting in a friend's horse trailer that left the area and can not be returned home to parent birds sadly. They babies are in good hands as I have fed many baby birds with success but these are hard to identify being so so young and featherless. Any sure fire ways of telling this young? I can also use the nest to identify.

Do not paint flowers on your furniture. If you feel you must do something else, replace knobs with pink crystal knobs. A mix of flowers with stripes of the colors you want in your bedding. Pink walls would look great with dark brown furniture. Keep the flowers to a minimum and go with stripes or dots if you don't want it to look too childish. Love the B&W pics in dark pink frames, again loose the flowers.

Well, you could try baby pink or light brown. Or even white…
But, if you don´t like these colors very much, you could choose your favorite color and paint the walls… So, if you like purple, paint one wall purple and the others white… And then just change the bedding… It´s not that expensive…

Well it depends on if you want it to be brand-new or gently used…I was a first-time mom and thought it should be new so I bought my daughter's crib-bedding at Target…It was cute, but pretty simple because the really, really nice stuff was super-expensive for my budget.
Then she started needing more and more stuff…a bassinet, baby monitor, mobile, swing, johnny jump-up, baby gates, shoes and on and on…I wised up and decided that it really didn't matter if someone else had used it first if it was still in almost new condition. I searched on google for my town and and "baby items" and consignment stores. I live in a pretty small town in Montana and found three stores that sell almost-new baby and kid items for much less than department stores. I saw tons of really cute crib-bedding for less than I payed…Disney and even the John Lennon baby collection I'd wanted so badly! Name-brand stuff for a lot less than I paid that looked brand-new. So if you're ok with gently-used things, I would suggest checking for consignment shops in your town or on craigslist for your area under the "baby and kids" section…because you can find things locally so you won't have to have it shipped…plus a lot pf people who do ads on craigslist for their kids' things are often trying to clear out some space in their house and aren't looking to make a lot of money…good luck, I hope you find something really nice.
