Baby Strollers – Everything You Should Know
A baby stroller is one of the biggest expenses in having a baby. There is a baffling array of them on the market and there are tricks you will pick up that will make using a baby stroller easier. Together, they are the essential knowledge about baby strollers that every parent needs to know.
Comfort
First, in choosing a stroller, you must get one which both your baby and you will be comfortable with. Nothing is more important than your baby’s safety and comfort. That said, to get the right stroller that will suit your needs and last for a while, you also need to consider how easy it is to use and transport and whether it is flexible (for instance transforming into a car seat or carry cot).
If you don’t know what you are looking for, and have not considered the factors above, you can spend ages looking for a stroller and never finding what you need. One of the first things you need to think about is whether the stroller is safe and stable. Is it sturdy, even when the baby is moving around in the stroller and it is loaded down with the ever-important diaper bag and perhaps even some shopping?
Harnesses
You need to take a look at the harness system. Children soon grow inquisitive and get to squirming around. A five-point harness system is best for keeping them safe and secure. It also worked well to support the more floppy bodies of infants too.
Handles
Next, have a look at the stroller handles. Does it adjust so people of different heights can push it? You don’t want your six foot tall husband to have any excuse to get out of his pushing duties do you?
Necessary Extras
Good strollers will come with a sun canopy and a rain hood. You may have to use the stroller in all weathers so be prepared for that. However, be aware that these accessories can be bought later to add to the stroller so don’t necessarily let the lack of one of these features deter you from buying a good value stroller.
One thing you cannot compromise on is whether the stroller folds. It has to! A stroller which won’t fit into your car is of no use to you. Preferably, find a stroller that folds with one hand so you can hold your baby at the same time.
Stroller travel systems are great. These incorporate a standard stroller with an infant seat that removes from the frame. That means you won’t have to wake up your sleeping baby to get them into the car. Just think of all the tears you’ll save. It serves as a standard stroller for older babies.
If you have twins or babies with a small age gap between them you may want a double stroller, but an easier solution may be to clip two single strollers together. That way, you can also use the strollers separately when you want to.
It’s really important to try out a stroller before you buy it. Walk normally with it. Walk quickly with it. Make sure it doesn’t trip you up. Check that it fits in your car.
Think long-term, too. Children aren’t known for being clean. Your stroller will soon get dirty. You should look for one with removable seat covers which are easy to wash.
How much do strollers cost? They can regularly run you about $200-$300. That sounds like a lot, but if you are a busy parent with lots of little ones, that stroller may be a lifesaver!

GOD BLESS YOU
i just brought that stoller my baby is 2 months
Get real booboo. Couldn't you come up with anything better than this question? Slow thinking day, huh? Hamster not running in the wheel very fast? Eleven year-olds should be in school learning proper grammer, not wasting our time with ridiculous questions that should never have been asked in the first place. Go play with your Barbies.
Lol at the person who answered first.. clearly not having much fun with their little one.
I am also planning all this for my first baby so will give it a shot at what you will need but there may be more…:
- moses basket and stand to allow baby to sleep in your room for first few months , or another option is a swinging crib which is a small cot that can go in your room.
- pram which is suitable from birth
- car seat again needs to be suitable from birth
- nursery furniture (if you are planning on doing this now); most basic nurseries consist of cot/cotbed, wardrobe and changer/dresser, although some nurseries have more/less furniture etc.
- Breast pump if breast feeding
- Bottle steriliser
- Bottles
- Baby clothes

I Love this stroller
the one item I couldnt live with out was my baby sling. Both of my kids were colicy and I found wearing them close to my heart seemed to sooth them when nothing else did. Another item was my cloth diapers because there are so many things you can do with them besides cover a naked heiney, like a light weight nursing drape or a spit cloth or a snuggle for a toddler.Plus once you are done with baby stage they make good cleaning cloths
The things I never used were
the baby bathtub
the ginormus stroller
could my baby sleep in it,or just sit?
I can only say if I were as lucky as my granddaughter is…I wouldnt mind at all. Someone to make your smile and laugh while being changed…Someone to take me everywhere and all I had to do is be shown off and people say how cute I was…AND someone to make all of my decisions for me, take care of me when I was sick…but, as an adult…that aint gonna happen…ROTFL….Wouldnt it be great?…..
Must be nice to have the money to be picky…..
Have fun!
No it doesn't sound stupid. Sorry the the loss of the other children. Don't start preparing until you are ready. There is no set time. Well there is of course before the baby gets here, but I meant you can start when ever you feel ready.

Someone needs to report this channel to Youtube because they have 1 million videos, 3/4 of them average less than 90 viewers per video(several having under 20 views each). I’ve only scanned through 415 pages of their videos and when I came across this one I noticed the date said October 23, 2008, and today is November 13, 2008. I think it’s pretty sad for someone to shoot and direct 20-25 videos daily and be constantly uploading them to Youtube almost 24/7.
Racists like you shouldn’t be commenting if all you’re going to do is hate.
I was wrong about the over 1 million videos, but they have over 130,000 videos and they upload 20 or more a day and they’ve been on Youtube since April 2006. I thought only private Youtubers uploaded multiple videos daily.
Stop crying, you little bitch.
Goddamn man, white people always running and telling on people for no reason
