if you are talking about a porta crib then yes you have to buy specific sheets for them so that the fit right
I used to shop bedding for my children from character comforts site. They have many good bedding and i think you can also find bedding of your choice from their site.
Craigslist.com, ebay.com, I also found that buying the "sets" is CRAZY expensive. I was given a whole bunch of crib blankets when I had my son… I found the best way to go is to buy the sheets separately. I found a bumper/sheet set for $16 dollars at Walmart. Then you buy an extra sheet or two and 2 mattress covers (so you can change the crib right after and incidents). I know it's kind of a pain to piece everything together but it sure beats paying $150 for 1 blanket, 1 bumper, 1sheet, and some ruffle? Also try looking at 2nd hand places.
i have a few sets of sheets, but only one set of the rest of the stuff. if your baby throws up or pees through a lot, it may be wise to have 2. my son wasn't a puker at all… i'm sure if he was, i would have wanted to have two of everything. : )
& if it's on sale, why not?
Anything that features ladybugs is going to be for a girl, unless the ladybugs are mixed in with a ton of other bugs.
Cribs all come in the same size. As long as you buy a crib bedding set, you should be fine. Make sure you don't buy a set for a bassinet, though!

honestly i dont even have bedding for my sons crib i just have a sheet to cover the mattress, but i dont think its a big deal if the mobile dosent match the other bed sets.
