Do you Know that Babies need Boxes
Do you Know that Babies need Boxes!
With so many things to prepare and organize before your babies arrival it’s no small wonder that new parents to be often under estimate the amount of baby storage space they will require once their little one comes along.

In today’s society it seems that just about every product we buy arrives in a box (with excessive amounts of packaging) and its usually a large sized box too. With limited space in your babies nursery ist hardly surprising to find the majority of boxes wont fit into your new baby sized wardrobe. So what’s the solution? do you hide it on top of the wardrobe or put it in your attic where it remains for years.
It is all too tempting to throw away boxes but try to remember that a few years down the line when the item is no longer being used you may wish to pass it onto a friend or family member or even sell it. This is when the box suddenly comes in rather handy. Furthermore, products sometimes need to be returned to the manufacturers for repair, the shop/ manufacturer will ask for the box which it came in. Try to hold onto the boxes but rather than piling them up, fold them down and pack them away somewhere dry.
Top Tip
As your baby grows you will find that you gather a wide range of things which are no longer of use to your infant but may well be of use a few years down the line when perhaps you expand your family. Its also a useful idea to store baby clothing in size labelled boxes so to save time organising and arranging clothes years down the line, just imagine how easy it would be to select a certain age range box and know that every item you require for this particular phase / age group is located in one box. Try to save your boxes and a pack of labels to organise yourself for the future.
Boxes, Boxes and more Boxes
Your child will enjoy playing in their bedroom, in the living room, in the kitchen, actually they will love spending time with you in almost every room and no doubt in each area they will have certain toys / items that they wish to have with them. It is wise to buy some cheap but attractive baby toy storage solutions in order to keep your house tidy and organised.
Boxes by Rooms
- For the living room why not buy some wicker baskets or a toy box to store your little ones toys in.
- For the bathroom you will require waterproof boxes in order to store bath toys or even better a bath toy tidy net to stick to the tiles for easy storage.
- For the bedroom try to find colourful boxes which are child friendly and can double up as a seat / building blocks. You may also wish to buy a hammock / net to store soft toys in.
For the kitchen you may wish to buy a basket to attach to the back of your high chair to store ‘table toys’. Boxes are an essential for any baby / toddler. Make ‘storage solutions’ a priority because BABIES NEED BOXES!

Help answer the question about baby play
What does your baby play with apart from toys?I have a HUUUGE number of toys for my son, that are supposed to aid his development in various miraculous ways. Does he play with them? I suppose so, but what he REALLY likes playing with is a muslin square. He can be amused for hours grabbing hold of his muslin, pulling it around, hiding his face etc… so cute!
Does your LO have a favourite 'toy'?

So you want to sell your items on Ebay. Been there and done that too. It is easy. First take a picture of each beanie baby. Then get an idea of the lowest bid you can accept comfortably and start it at that. Fill in the details and make is snappy like "Cute Elmo beanie, goes great with your other Sesame Street characters" etc. Then put the amount of money to start the bid, how you want them to pay. Be smart and use Paypal. It is safer even though they take small fee it is worth the protection, Then yes, take 1 beanie and weight it with a cardboard box. Best to set it at Priority Mail rate per item. That way you are covered since the weight is less than 2 lbs. List you will send international but rates are calculated at the end. There is a button for that as well. They have a great tutorial.

I'm a RN (registered nurse) and there are several types of nurses that help care for babies. For health baby's and moms they are post partum nurses, for babies being born there are labor and delivery nurses and for sick baby's and young children there are pediatric nurses, neo natal nurses and pediatric intensive care nurses. To become a nurse most schools require 2-4 years of education. I have a bachelors in nursing science that was 4 years at a university. My mother is a licensed practical nurse and its a 2 year program at a college.
They won't need a litter box til they are about 4 weeks – their mom looks after that. Around a month, put out a low-sided open litter box. We use clumping litter. About that same time, try giving them soft stuff from your plate – mashed potatoes, smushed up chicken (ours always went nuts for chicken), etc. Real food will start to give them firmer poops. Buy kitten food – canned, or use dry kitten food and soften it up with water ahead of time. We do the latter, because you can just do tiny bits at a time, because they sure don't eat much. You are so lucky to have new kitties – I'm jealous!
ive had adult box turtles before and they mainly eat fruits and veggies and insects and worms. Ex:super worms, some beetles, and the cheapest thing u can do is catch abnd feed him/her your own earth worms. i have yet to come across a reptile that doesnt like worms
Depending on a couple of things.
If it is her first litter then she may have trouble if her mother instincts don't kick in. (I have seen cat that abandoned her kittens once, 1st litter I think?) Just watch her behavior towards the kittens – is she feeding them?, cleaning and mothering them?, Always close at hand/leaving only to feed and go to the toilet?
If she is then she will be fine. Make sure she is comfortable and has good quality food available. But be prepared that she may move them to a place she believes is more secure and protected. (My cat moved hers into a old couch, there was a hole in it)
If she isn't taking care of them, or they are not feeding or she has rejected one/more . Please ask advise from a vet – they will most likely suggest a formula. Do not feed them cows milk. This is a last result do not separate the cat from her kittens unless you really have to.
