Save Money with Wholesale Baby Clothing

Save Money with Wholesale Baby Clothing

Are you looking for a way to buy clothes for your baby without spending an arm and a leg? Although many parents receive baby clothes at showers or get recycled baby clothes from friends, you might want a number of baby sets to mirror your individual preferences.

However, there is another less time consuming way to get cheap and trendy baby clothes – by buying them at wholesale prices on the internet. Mothers erroneously believe that cheap wholesale baby clothes are only available in gigantic lots, but that really isn’t true.

Although you’ll most often need to buy upwards of one article of clothing, you can choose small lots and still save some cash. As an example, one wholesaler on the internet sells baby clothes in small lots of 3 which each being a different size. You can get high quality baby outfits in various sizes such as 3, six and nine months at less than $15. At the regular price, comparable sets would set you back from twenty-five bucks to $40 each.

Aside from the lower cost, an advantage of ordering identical baby suits in 3 distinct sizes is that your little one gets to wear the outfit for up to twelve months whereas usually outfits would only last 3 months due to baby growth rates. Buying in packs of three saves you the inconvenience of searching for baby clothes all the time. Planning baby clothing in advance by buying outfits that you like in three progressive sizes will get you through the first year with a little more ease and less stress at this crucial time in the baby’s life as they need a lot of attention.

Planning ahead for your child’s clothing for one year at a time provides an opportunity for those design-conscious moms to fully match the complete look at one given point in time. Planning the baby’s wardrobe ahead of time will enable you to buy more accessories as time goes on. Women already look ahead and plan their wardrobes for the seasons, yearly, so it’s not a stretch to look ahead a year for a baby, to coordinate a wardrobe allowing for growth and the season with multiple-sized clothing.

This avoids the problem of selecting and matching for a large number of ensembles over and over. On the Internet you are able to buy baby clothes at discounted wholesale prices so they are more affordable. When it involves contemporary apparel for your infant, cheap wholesale baby clothes in multiple sizes can be a new mother’s helping hand.

great idea… but I would NEVER spend 60$ on such a small gift. I’d just make it myself

Newborn usually means up to 8 Lbs. 0-3 months usually means up to 12 lbs. I found that length made more of a difference than weight, though. My daughter was 8lbs 5 oz, and newborn fit her for awhile.

Really hard to predict… I wouldn't buy too many of each size until the kid hits size 12mo or 18mo and plays outside in the mud, but it depends. Some babies spit up a lot the first half year or so and could use more clothes (or you'd have to do laundry all the time). Also, make sure that the clothes are for the right season, and try to find clothes that are easy to put on and take off. I'd say buy no more than 4 outfits in each size, especially because she might get more from family or whomever, and maybe buy more later if turns out she needs more. Like, "surprise, I bought your baby another onesie because he turned 6 months!". Also, buy two sleepers in each size, they're really handy because babies are usually notorious for not staying under the blankets.

Talk to any local Upholstery or Seamstress or Tailor shop, the Upholstery may not have any clothes fashion books or info handy, but they prolly sew as much or more varied designs and materials than the other two do.

Forever A Kid is a Canadian adult baby clothing store that makes custom clothing. I haven't ordered from FAK myself, but I've heard only good things. I believe that they do accept international money orders. Check their website to see if they're currently accepting orders.

make sure they are completely dry before putting in storage. Then get some of those space saver bags, where you vacuum seal them. Then store in a cedar chest or hope chest of some sort that is lined in cedar. Cedar is a natural insect repellant and will keep the bugs away.

Try Zazzle.com, too. They have a line of organic baby clothing. You can easily (and for free) design things for this and many other lines and post them for sale and make a commission off of each item you sell. You even get to choose your own commission amount. Also, feel free to join the yahoo group I just created. It's all about home based businesses and maybe someone will join who is into exactly what you are looking for. Here's the link if you're interested. I hope you find what you're looking for! :) http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HomeBusinessReps
