Buying baby clothes and other baby items should be fun, even through an online baby store. Everyone likes to make a young baby happy with something fun or clothes that make them look even cuter than they already are. They have fewer expectations than kids or adults when it comes to presents, and if they don’t look happy to receive a gift, their parents will.
Baby clothes brands get more and more trendy, as people enjoy dressing their babies to look good more and more. I have a five month old baby and believe me, he already has a better wardrobe than I do. My wife and all our friends can’t get enough colour co-ordinated outfits and funny hats for the little guy. I must admit that I do like to mix and match his clothes too.
I never knew such huge baby stores existed. They stock everything for babies from the basics up to big baby items like prams and cots and so on all underneath one roof. As a new parent you go there and can’t help but be a bit intimidated. For me a big baby store can be a bit busy and overwhelming to be the fun experience buying things for a baby should be. Especially when there are other crying kids around. I think this would especially be true if you wanted to buy a baby gift. Most people buy clothes and toys and decorations for gifts, and these tend to get lost amongst the prams and cots and what not at baby shops.
More and more people like me are following the general trend and buying baby gifts online. This way they get to see lots of relevant items quickly, without missing out on the cute baby photos and funny pictures while they shop.
Another benefit of buying these sorts of products online is that they are usually cheaper. With less overheads and the opportunity to stock a wide variety of products, online stores selling baby clothes are almost always cheaper than a physical store.
You should expect the same level of service these days from an online baby store. It is possible to ring up and ask questions about products both before and after you make a sale. The successful stores will have staff at the ready to let you know whatever you are wondering about, like how far away your order is or what colour such and such comes in. Because they are less bombarded by questions from stressed mothers to be all day, online sales staff can be even more helpful than in person.
The best thing for me is that you can quickly surf through loads of products, usually by brand name or product type, and see many different items at once. It makes it so much easier. Remember to buy a size or two bigger than you think. I always heard that babies grow fast but, wow, they really do grow fast.
For us, the best presents we have got have been things that we would not have bought ourselves. Things like luxury blankets, a bath mat, a better nappy bag and some wall art. To be honest, we never got a disappointing baby gift. Everything comes in handy but cool gifts of course seem even better.
I think the best online baby stores have a large range of items, including lots of baby clothes and baby gifts. They are easy to navigate and have lots of photos without too much reading necessary. Lots of my friends have babies too and they have all been buying their baby clothes and other things online for ages. In my experience it saves time and energy and if you get it delivered to your friend or family member with a baby, there is the extra surprise for them when they get something in the mail.

What is the best way to store baby accessories like hats and socks?I am getting the nursery ready, and am trying to think of a conveniant way to store all of baby's hats, socks, and bibs, etc.
I ran out of drawer space.

I am assuming since you say from the states, that you are located outside of them. The first answer gave some good sites. But let me give you some good advice on shipping. I am an American who lives in London. Most sites do not even take foreign credit cards. And when they do they rarely ship outside the US. And when they do ship foreign orders the country you live in will charge you a fortune in taxes and duty. Been there.
Baby Net piece of advise in naming the business. Use every search engine that you can and run the name you plan on using. As long as it does not show up then it is safe to use.
