Top 5 Baby Diaper Bags

Top 5 Baby Diaper Bags

I’m under 30 years old and  I can’t remember any of the mothers having nice diaper bags at any time in my life until the last couple years. Diaper bags with Winnie the Pooh or Mickey Mouse on them are a thing of the past. The new craze which I was just introduced to about 4 years ago is designer diaper bags, that take toting those diapers and wipes to a whole new level. The top 5 most desirable diaper bags are new breed of bag for the stylish moms.

Many companies have come out of the wood work in the past 5 years making caring a certain diaper bag very fashion forward and sometimes even status symbol for what bag you are carrying. Companies such as Petunia Pickle Bottom, Fleurville, OiOi and even designers like Gucci and Kate Spade have created beautiful diaper bags for moms to feel like they are carrying a bag for themselves not just their baby. Some bags don’t even look like a diaper bag.

The top five diaper bags on the market right now are as follows, Petunia Pickle Bottom, Skip Hop, Fleurville, Reese Li and OiOi. Keeping that in mind most people get the Petunia Bags because if you are keeping up with the Jones that what you do. But it’s good to examine what bags are made of and what kind of functionality they have too.

It’s very interesting to see what kinds of materials some companies use to make certain diaper bags. Such materials as silk have been used to make gorgeous diaper bags, but the impracticality of this delicate material is what makes purchasing one of these nicer bags a tough decision. For some moms they will have their nicer bag and then a more practical bag such as a skip Skip Hop bag that can be strapped on to a stroller and has a lot more durability than some of the fancier bags.

There are also many lines now that carry diaper bags for the dads too. It’s important for the dad to feel included and most dads don’t want to carry a frilly pink diaper bag around. So many companies have incorporated a camo design into their line of bags so that the dads can have a bag too. The top 5 diaper bags for dads are: BOB Diaper Bag, Skip Hop,  Diaper Dudes, Marshall and JJ Cole.

It may seem impractical to have potentially 3 diaper bags just for one family. But remember it is a bag you will use every day while your child is a baby. Once your baby gets a bit older you may not feel the need to carry around as much stuff so you could carry one of the diaper and wipes “pods” that have been created to just put these few items in your normal purse. This will change again once you decide to have second child and incorporate an even bigger diaper bag into the mix. There are some companies that offer a double size diaper bag that is made to hang from a double sized stroller and is appropriate for someone having twins or someone with two small children.

As you can see there are so many options in the world of diaper bags. It can be a hard choice to make, but in the end it’s an important choice to make. Make sure you choose a bag that fits your needs but you will also be willing to walk around with and feel proud to carry. It’s ok to pamper yourself with a nice diaper bag or better yet, register for a really nice bag for your baby shower and it’s a great gift that a bunch of people can go together on.

Are Juicy Couture Diaper/Baby bags worth the price?
I am considering purchasing a Juicy Couture diaper bag soon. They are quite expensive, but have a great look and seem to be practical.

If you own one, can you share your thoughts on the bag? Would you reccomend it?

lol Yes. Most of my things are for girls and sissies. When I have more ABDL *boys* to play with, I will invest, but you’re always welcome to bring your own special things.

If you still haven’t thought of a name for the wash mitt, I think Soapy would be a cute name since it involves soap in baths! Great Video!

You didn't say if you can sew or can embroider, but I'm assuming you can. Your best bet is to design some really great diaper bags and carry them around to show them off. If people comment on them, be prepared to take orders. I know someone who did just this. She set up a website and has sold several bags that way. Her website is http://www.monassewingroom.com/Placemat_Purse/

It says on the package the wieght of the baby and get some bigger ones just incase. Personally I know a lot of people that stock up and its a good idea because even if there are too big when it is born you will always be able to use them later. Oh yeah huggies leave what I call "gel balls" on your baby alot, so I personally don't buy them.

This may help you! If you log on to "china clothing manufacturers" then go to "children and baby" you will come up with several manufacturers names and email contacts. the reason I'm suggesting this is because they can produce the items far cheaper than you can. if you submit a sketch of what you want, they will design it for you. If you need say $500 to start, the bank would probably advance you a small amount like that. Good luck and I hope all goes well for you!

If you have the money to spend on a designer diaper bag go for it, but expensive bags aren't always the best choice. I've known people who coveted the Coach diaper bag but ended up hating it because it was too small.

If a diaper bag has to be dry-cleaned, I wouldn't recommend buying it. Things spill so you want something that wipes off easily or something you can throw in the wash.

It's also important to have plenty of room. You'll want a bag with plenty of pockets on the outside for keys, cell phone and the other stuff you need quickly that's large enough to accommodate diapers, wipes, changes of clothes, sippy cups, snacks, and all of the gear you'd ordinarily carry in your purse.

Its is a fake…but a good one. I mean there are people on the streets who sell $20 Louis Buttons, or Goaches (the Coach bags with a G vs. a C).

But some people also sell higher quality ones, generally if the lining or sewing quality as well as the print and print cuts are good they can charge more. Because its hard to tell if its a fake. There are all kind of rumors out there too that in the "sweatshops" workers take home the "real" materials and hardware then piece it together at home or sell the materials and some other person makes it. Thus in essence it also is a a high quality replica, might actually be Gucci product but not sewn together properly and likely has no official serial number.

If you ended up buying it at an actual high end store/dept store/Gucci showroom then that is totally wrong that they sold it to you and you should take it back. If you got it at some place else and they didn't provide things such a s a warranty, serial #, dustbag (or real dustbag), or receipt chances are its a fake or replica.

You can actually go to many purse forums on line to tell a real from a replica too! Below link is exactly how to spot a fake Gucci.

what I always have in my diaper bag is of course diapers but the amount will depend on how long you will be gone. For a few hours I would have around 5 diapers if you are gone all day then 10. always have a pack of wipes. Not a little pack a big pack to help wash hands and also diaper changes. I also pack a couple of hand toys for the baby to see hanging on the car seat or when they are bigger to play with. Board books are great when they are older. I also have at least 2 to 3 outfits in case of spit ups or blow outs and some bibs too. I also would have a couple of burp cloths and a receiving blanket or two. Rash cream like Triple paste and either disposable changing table mats or a mat to change your baby on and some hand sanitizer for when you can't wash your hands after.

Just a little tip to save your car seat from blow outs is put a receiving blanket folded twice and put it where the baby's butt is and also the legs and back. You want all that area covered. So if your baby has a blow out it will hopefully stay on the receiving blanket and then you wont have to wash your car seat.

The video was interesting and informative of the service you provide to the AB/DL community. Giving examples of the use of the items and your preference was a good idea as well.

Now for my own little opinion. Damn girl! This boy would have a hard time with all that pink. Is it possible that the baby would be allowed to bring items they are comfortable with?
