Essential Baby Gear for Your Little Angel
If you are a new parent your life must not be the same as before. The new born baby has given you a new meaning of life, isn’t it? Your entire world has changed with the coming of the little angel. It is natural for each and every parent to desire the best things for their baby. The new born babies need extra care and attention. Taking care of the toddlers is not at all easy. First time parents need especial guidance on how to take care of their child. You should know what baby gear is absolutely essential for your baby.
Since parents have become more caring numerous companies have come up with various baby products. You will find several baby products in the market. But it is not necessary to buy all the products together. Don’t go by the temptation of buying everything that the shop keeper shows. Baby gear is expensive. So make a list of the essential items so that you don’t need to break the bank. Another point to note is that try to go for organic baby products which have no harmful side effects. Though they are costly they are safe for your baby.
Baby clothes are really essential. You need to have them for the new born. Many parents just love to see their baby in colorful new dresses. But buying expensive clothes for a new born doesn’t make any sense especially if he/she has received many clothes in the baby shower party. Toddlers grow very fast. So buying too many clothes is nothing but wastage. Avoid buying expensive clothes during the initial months.
Buying five to six sleepers is also essential. Moreover you should have outfits for the baby which he/she can wear when you take him/her out with you. Baby bottles are another important product. Though in the initial months you breast feed the new born, after a few months you need bottles for feeding water.
One of the most important things is the diaper which you definitely need for your baby. This baby gear can not be avoided at any cost. Toddlers need at least 8 to 10 diapers a day. So you need to stock diapers. When you buy baby gear like diaper be very careful because all the brands might not be suitable for your baby. The little one might be allergic to some of the diaper brands.
Baby cribs and baby beds are not to be missed out. Try to go for a crib that has three crib sheets. Adjustable baby cribs are also available in the market. These cribs can be extended as your baby grows up. They can be used up to three years. Besides cribs you should buy the baby pads so that your baby can be comfortable and sleep well. Though cribs are expensive you should not hesitate to buy them because your baby’s safety should be much more important to you.
Baby pouch and strollers are also extremely important for parents who need to go out often and unable to leave their baby at home. If you want to travel safely with your child you need to buy the essential baby gear.

Help answer the question about baby gear
What is the minimum amount of baby gear you would need for the first 6 months I live in a tiny place!?I'm having a baby boy in August and was wanting to know what is the least amount of baby gear I can get by with. My friends are throwing a shower and I'm not sure what to ask for because my space is so small. (350 sq. ft small!) Would it be worth buying a high end stroller that doubles as a bassinet? (peg perego space model) Give me your ideas! Thanks so much!

and yet the baby is STILL alive
can’t fit under the track my eye.
damn dude calm down y dont u worship the sun for all i care
So glad the baby survived
I have a second hand one so it was free *lol*. My son loved it until he outgrew it. Even now it is in front of his crib and sometimes the lights and music put him to sleep.
Considering the hard use mine went through and still works perfectly and looks new, I would say that half the retail value would be fair, though I would try to pay less
(BTW The fabric is VERY easy to clean! It slips right off!)
Also you might want to buy some rechargeable D batteries as all the kids toys seem to take that size.
My breasts are essential.
Also, I have a Graco MetroLite stroller that I love.
I'd hang on to the items. Baby items dont go out of style that quick. Just make sure all the toys and crib, high chair still meet the safety standards.
All that can be very expensive to buy. And with prices going up on everything, you can save alot of money if you keep it till you know for sure.
Im going to hang on to all of my sons stuff. I will part with some outfits.. and maybe some toys… but im going to keep the majority of it… till i know i dont want anymore kids.
Best of luck

damn. good thing God didn’t take his life
Probably would…but..please don’t. ^_^”’
One Step Ahead is definitely a great one for baby gear. They have some really neat stuff that you can't find other places. I think you will find that if you get on the mailing list for one of the catalogs, you will get several others that are similar.
The ABC catalog has some toys in it pretty cheap and sometimes they are older, wooden style toys.
As for clothes, a great website is BabyThreads Resale. They have new and used clothes at great prices!
@FCSRaymond lol the troller cant be fit under the track. and the whole thing got pushed for some 30metres.
A Baby Bjorn. Don't accept any imitations, they're the best. I didn't have one with my first child and I wished so badly that I did that for my second child (due in a couple weeks) I told my husband it was the one thing I wanted for this baby. I bought it months ago and it's sitting in the closet waiting for this baby to come.
And if your wife is planning to breastfeed, freezer storage bags for breastmilk are a MUST if she ever wants to get away (and it's healthy to), or if she gets sick. Have her stock the freezer and you'll always have it as a security. If you want to take your wife on a date and leave baby with the sitter, or if your wife gets sick and her milk supply drops, you have the comfort of knowing your baby is still getting the best nutrition possible. Of course, having freezer bags first requires a good breast pump.
you’re so fucked… tens of thousands of kids die each day. keep worshiping your pathetic and cruel god.
so a kid almost dies and all you can do is argue about God
like the other person said, i bought a monitor thinking id need one, but monitor or no monitor, i can hear that kid crying from a mile away! this ones kind of small, but the nose bulb, my son cries bloody murder when i use it on him, so that had to go. my sling, never got baby to fit in a comfortable position, that also had to go…and my pack and play was a huge waste of money. so far. but hes only 3 months so maybe hell use it eventually
I'd say get a travel system stroller/car seat set that way you have everything you need through toddler age.
As for a highchair, they make some that fold down to a very slim size, but I think folding and unfolding it every time would be a pain. They make the kind that strap into a normal dining room chair and they're smaller. Also, if you don't want to get a highchair right away you can just feed the baby in the car seat until he's too big for it.
If he's not going to sleep in your bed, I would opt for a pack n play sleep system. They're much smaller (and cheaper) than cribs and can double as a play pen and travel bed. Some even have a built in fold away changing table. Very handy.
As far as a changing table goes, you could just use the top of a dresser you already have in your home.
That's really all you NEED. If you want a swing, choose a table top travel swing so its small enough to put into the closet when you're not using it. If you're interested in a place to store the baby's clothes separate from your own dresser, get one of those hanging sweater shelves that hang in your closet. The slots are definitely big enough for baby's clothes and blankets and they run fairly cheap at target. Good luck!
I can just imagine that kid when he’s older.
“Hey babe, i’m indestuctable. I was ran over my a train and yeah, I’m still here..”
Okay. Either that or he’ll be terrified of trains. Depends on the personality.
..Why’s everyone arguing? There’s no point, Can’t we just be happy for the Mom whether you believe in God or not? ^^’
