Help answer the question about baby gifts
Where can I register for baby gifts that is environmentaly friendly and online? My husband and I are adopting a child and we want to register for baby/toddler gifts online for our family that is out of town but we want the items to be as environmentally friendly and fair trade as possible and not just a bunch of plastic junk. Thank you!
Thank you for your help!
So cute and they will be added to a diper cake SO SO SO CUTE thank you

X’masのダイパーケーキを考えていた処なので、緑の靴下でツリーにしたいと思います。
Thanks a million★彡
good Idea thanks
This is a bit of a pickle.
Invitations to baby parties should be sent out 2 – 3 weeks prior to the party by a little card – not by a mass e-mail invitation – you know people have stuff they plan, giving ample notice would put me on your list.
I understand your need for baby stuff, however, it is not like a wedding where you "register" your gifts. Baby showers are a hit and miss.
I suggest a friend send out the invitations for a welcome baby party, you provide little sandwiches and tea cakes and tea/coffee/soda.
I really love the idea of actually seeing the little baby after the birth, what a neat idea to see newborn rather a bump on your tummy.
Invitations could say something like, "Let's welcome Sarah/David to our world" whatever is appropriate and try to include a little picture.
If you still don't have enough, then try going to second hand stores for baby things. There is nothing wrong with this. Just wash the stuff prior to using.
I wish you the best of luck!
I think that there are NO limits on how many baby showers you can have. Every baby is special and deserves to be celebrated. So to people who think that it is bad to have more than one, they are just cheap penny pinchers. Go ahead and have as many as you want, if someone doesn't feel like getting you a present, who cares, they are the ones who will look bad, not you. Good Luck!
What a good idea! Since you plan on keeping it small, I would skip the formal invitations and maybe send out like a "flyer" to your family members where you can include more detail.
torrontes is a so called "aromatic" grape variety and produces wine which is lite in body with lively fruit, and good acidity, it's most noticeable and attractive quality is a perfumed nose, of lychees and sometimes jasmine honey notes. Due to this is stands up well to dishes with a little spice, and compliments oriental, thai, orother spiced dishes. it works equally well with crisp stronger salads such as rocket, asparagus or cos, also nice with goats cheese and roasted red peppers. whatever you have it with enjoy it not to cold as the excessive cold will mute the honeyed nose and flavour .
i find a better video. very beautiful.

Hey, if youre stuck at home anyway now you might as well be making some money online… check out soloemployee . com
my girlfriend bought a bunch of cloths for my daughter and put them on a cloths line with cloths pins and then laid them in a tall hamper with a note on the end of the line that said "pull slowly" It was amazing! She went way over board and the line stretched about 50 feet long. It was the hit of our shower. So our gift was a cute pink hamper and a ton of cloths. I am not a fan of the diaper cakes because we didn't like the diapers and I ended up not using them at all.
What I used the most when my baby was very young was a swing! I had the Fisher Price Baby Papasan one and it was great.
For something less expensive, one of those winter carseat cozies would be useful.
Or the Fisher Price Newborn to Toddler Rocker..I use that a lot too.
Of course you can invite whomever you want to your luncheon!! This is totally different than a shower….it is a "come meet my baby!" celebration.
Just remember to NOT include info about your registry in the invite (not in good taste)….but be sure to drop enough hints with the right people so if anyone goes asking they will find out where you are registered. Also keep in mind that not everyone will neccesarily bring a gift to this luncheon….but I am sure some will.
Have fun……and congratulations!!
I agree with what the Emily Post institute said. Gifts are aboslutley not necesary and should not be expected. By the time your baby is here you should have everything you need but having a welcome baby party is a great idea and not bad ettiqutte at all. Enjoy your party!
I do think it is a good gift to buy for a baby shower. I'd pay $25 for it. It's very cute.
